I was raised on a Central New York dairy farm turned vegetable farm. I've baled a lot of hay and picked a lot of vegetables! Tons!!!

I studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy and the Rochester Institute of Technology in NY.

I returned to Italy as an instructor the very next year.  

Building on my teaching experience I moved to Muscat, Oman and created a two year photography program with some very talented colleagues and lots of eager students.  At the Higher College of Technology and within Oman, I had an amazing and fulfilling 5 years expanding the program, teaching, and immersing myself in the culture of the Omani people.

My next challenge was to create a photography department in a startup data and e-commerce company just outside of Boston.
